The Peninsula High School Seahawk Cheerleaders main purpose is to provide support for our schools athletic teams. Seahawk Cheerleaders provide school spirit support to football, volleyball, soccer, basketball and wrestling. We also provide encouragement support to our swim and dive team, cross country and our spring sports.

Thank you to everyone that came to the Seahawk Cheer Challenge, we all had a great time.  Hopefully every team learned from the judges some corrections, changes and upgrades that they can make to their routines that will make them even better.

Get ready for the next competition at Peninsula on January 10, 2009.  This is one of the last two qualifiers for the WIAA State Championships for Varsity Cheer teams.

Harbor CheerFest 09 is being held at Peninsula High School on Saturday, January 10, 2009.  Come join in the fun with cotton candy, Dippin' Dots, our food court, lattes and much more.  Oh, yea the competition too! 

We will have photos of all teams for you to purchase.  What about flowers for tha great cheerleader!

Once again the Peninsula HS Cheerleaders were invited to the Puyallup Fair to perform on the Community In Schools stage.  This year we brought with us 10 members of the Mini Seahawks team.  These are girls ages 4 - 10 that have gone to our summer mini cheer camp.

After the Seahawks cheerleaders performed for the crowd we invited our Mini Cheerleaders to perform and they did an outstanding job!  After, we invited children from the audience to stunt with the cheerleaders.

Community In Schools is a program that allows the community to help schools teach and support our youth, because the schools can't do it alone.  Click on the link to get more information.

The Junior Varsity cheer team earns the highly sought after Top Team trophy from NCA Summer Cheer camp.  During final day competitions, the JV team from Peninsula took to the field and wowed the crowd as wells as the judges with their performances in the Game Day competition.  With 8 members they performed great leading the crowd with their spirit and game day type stunts.

The girls seemed surprised that they had won, but not their coach, Laura.  She was sure they would do well even though they were going up against larger teams!

We are all very proud of them and we hope to see more great things from them as the school year begins.  From sideline to competitions to Nationals, watch out for Peninsula JV Cheer!

The Peninsula Seahawks do it once again.  Having had 9 members of the squad nominated for All American, four earned the honor of being placed on the NCA All American Team for 2008.

Nominated for they abilities in leadership, stunting, tumbling, jumps, dance, and motions, each performed the camp cheer and three advanced level jumps on the third night of camp.  Four of the team members earned scores of 23 or higher to become NCA All Americans.

Once again Mini Cheer Camp was a great success!  With over 40 participants, age 4 - 12 the Seahawk Cheerleaders had their hands full.

We had a great time and so did the kids.  All of who performed for family and friends on the last day of camp.  Each group performed a cheer, and chant, stunts and a dance.

The Seahawks will be hosting other cheer clinics during the school year, so keep a look out for the flyers coming to a school near you!

We will also host a clinic for a special FishBowl performance.  FishBowl is set for October 3.
