+ If your team's ranking is wrong, probably we did not get the score. The league's odd number of teams create a weekly bye with differing number of games played, so I'm posting by team record rather than points. Sportsmanship points, which you lose with each "card" received, has a significant affect on the true league standings. For each game, the point awards are: 7 for a win, 3 for a tie, 1 for each goal up to a max of 3, 1 for a shut-out, and up to 5 sportsmanship points.
SPRING 2003 TOURNAMENT RESULT
Anarchy United F.C. (a.k.a white and now named "Future Stars Soccer M30) bested Santos in a thriller that went to penalty kicks. The lead bounced back and forth, ending in a 2-2 tie after regular time and two overtime periods. Mike Hughey stopped the sixth PK attempt by Santos and Jorgen Brahm made his for the victors.

O-40 CHARLESTON TEAM MAKES SEMI-FINALS
A number of players banded together, from UNOS, Bad Mojo, Anarchy United, and the O-40 Strikers, to enter a side in the Lowcountry Soccer Festival in Charleston, SC. We narrowly lost to the ultimate champs, playing the last couple of games without subs. We entered as Future Stars Soccer, visit the Web site of our sponsors, a great new youth soccer overnight camp - academy.
OVER-50 "BOCA SENIORS" ENTER VETERANS CUP
The Veterans Cup is the National Cup competition for Over-40/50/55 players. Our Boca team has entered the tournament, which is played in Hawaii this August. During the spring and fall, they play in the CASL O-40 league. Wish them luck!

White beat Gold in the tournament final. Gold defeated Olimpia, Nunya (#2 seed), and Unos (#3 seed) to make the final. White shut out Red, Santos, and Gold to Win.
WHITE (Anarchy United) REPEATS AS FALL 2001 SEASON CHAMPIONS
With a 7-1-1 record, the team formerly known as White repeats as regular season champions. Nunya, which tied the champs 2-2, claims the #2 spot with a 6-0-3 record. Every team in the league continues to improve each season.
"WHITE" TEAM BECOMES "ANARCHY UNITED F.C."
The team formerly known as "white," changes its name to "Anarchy United." Tom gets credit for a name the truly reflects the spirit of the team.

Rick Inman, a longtime participant in Roswell Adult Soccer and current president of the Georgia State Soccer Association, will lead a new entry from Roswell into Cobb's Over-40 league. Unos & FC United Tie For Top Honors During Strong Season
This Spring season had many close games and ever-better competition. The league improves each year and is certainly the league offering the best Over-30 soccer. The winners both had 115 points, FC edged out Unos on game points, but the tie shows how sportsmanship points make a difference. Sportsmanship points reflect the number of cards and quality of player-referee interactions on the field. Anarchy United came in third with 112 and Santos, forth, with 100 points. Overall a great, competitive season.
Roswell Soccer Club seeks Board Candidates & Volunteers
Adult players should support the Roswell Soccer Club that represents us and the youth teams.
There is always a need for qualified Referees and volunteers for Roswell tournaments or recreational soccer jamborees.
Election board positions are held around May at the annual meeting of the Roswell Soccer Club. Please indicate your interest or nominees though your team captain or the Rec.
Many voluteer opportunities exist that allow adult league players to contribute to the organization that represents us with the Rec that sponsors our adult league.
Get to know the Roswell Soccer Club and the Board members, some of whom are current or former players in our league.
