Game Highlights 
WINNERS BRACKET
Game  1)  Bobby Pizes went 3 for 4, and Capped Out/Easton won despite 2 home run ejections.
Game  2)  Local 420's Pat Brown went 4 for 4, with 2 doubles, 2 triples, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Fred Tentole of Enzo's Pizza made 2 diving catches and had 7 picks from 1st base. 
Game  3)  Nationals' Pat Zumpol went 3 for 4, as did Bob Vatli in this matchup against Habberstad Reds. 
Game  4)  Cablevision's Vin Brewer scored 3, with 1 RBI, a hit and 2 doubles.  For the Spartans, 2nd baseman Frank Albarella made 7 great plays. 
Game  5)  Cinelli Ironmen's right center fielder Randy Caldeno made two awesome catches in the bottom of the 5th inning, one a stunning straight-up snag. 
Game  6)  Steel Fitness saw the game winning hit in the 6th inning, a double by Tom Sternich, and teammate Chris Marchese went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a double.  Jose Rivera went 3 for 3 with
                1 run scored and 1 RBI for opponents Cognac. 
Game  7)  Close game, with Aqua Lounge taking the win over Bashers II.
Game  8)  Steve Ramargee of the 485ers went 3 for 3 with 3 runs and s RBIs.  The Lookers' Greg Roll was solid in left field with a nice catch. 
Game  9)  Reported as a great game to watch, Sports Park managed to come back with 10 runs in the 7th inning to win.  Defensively, Seb Fratto made a sweet diving catch in center, with team- 
                mates Ryan Hallett going 4 for 5, with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs, and Jason Dilutto went 3 for 4 with 2 runs, a walk and 2 RBIs.  Capped Out/Easton played hard with Bob Pizes who went 
                4 for 5, with a double, a triple, 3 runs scored, 6 RBIs and a walk, and pitcher Mike McGuirk who went 4 for 6, a double, a triple, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs.
Game 10)  Noteworthy in this game was the ejection of Local 420's player Anthony Alvetta for language, despite a couple of warnings from the umpire. 
Game 11)  Carlo Cannone of the Nationals went 3 for 3 with 4 runs, and he scored the winning run on Matt Hess's 2-run single. 
Game 19)  This tight game was won in the 7th inning. Cinelli Ironmen's 3rd baseman Mike Nunziato went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored, and teammate Pete Lane was 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs. 
Game 20)  Steel Fitness showed power with Chris Marchese who went 3 for 3 with 2 runs, and solid defense by 2nd baseman Paul Dellio and SS Danny Dwyer in this win over Sports Park. 
Game 21)  Aqua Lounge beat Axxess handily with Mike Quenneville, who went 3 for 4 with 4 runs and 5 RBIs.  Three of the four hits were doubles. 
Game 22)  In a close one over the Nationals, 495ers' Bill Caldwell went 3 for 4 and Nationals' Bob Vatty went 4 for 4.  In the bottom of the 7th Brian Pierce stroked the game winning single. 
Game 27)  For Cinelli Ironmen, Pete Lane went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 RBIs and one run scored.  Winning Steel Fitness' pitcher Matt Zurawel caught 2 hard line drives, and a couple of great plays 
                 on ground balls.  In addition, Tom Strimich went 3 for 4, with a triple, a double and a run scored, and Danny Dwyer was 2 for 3, with 2 triples, 2 runs scored, a RBI and a walk. 
Game 28)  Dex Ortiz of the winning 495ers went 3 for 4 in this victory over Aqualounge.
Game 33)  Dex Ortiz (again) of the winning 495ers had a brilliant unassisted double play in the bottom of the 3rd.  Teammate Jim Dundon was ejected for language in the bottom of the 6th, and his
                 replacement David Kheel had the game winning run in the top of the 7th inning.
LOSERS BRACKET
Game  12)  Enzos Pizza walked three batters in a row, to get to the Spartans/Boombah's Mike Harrison - last automatic out - and won the game.
Game  13)  Cognac sends Habberstad Reds home, winning with the efforts of Mark Wicks, who had 3 hits, 3 runs, 3 RBIs and 2 walks, as well as the great hustle of right fielder Jay Clamente.    
Game  14)  In this close one, Whatever Softball claimed victory in part due to the efforts of Robert Delfino, who went 4 for 4, had 1 RBI and 1 run, and made some great plays at shortstop.
Game  15)  Bashers II held on to win this game, with Jesse Campanelli going 3 for 4,with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.  Local 420 managed 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th, but fell short of the win.
Game  16)  Going 8 innings, Team Synergy won over Enzo's Pizza.  Mike Aleghretti went 4 for 4, had 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs, and Heath Terry went 4 for 5, and the game winning RBI.  Rich
                  Fasano had a great play at 2nd base, when he stopped a powerful hit cold.  Steph Zichella of Enzo's Pizza did well, going 3 for 3 with 2 runs, a RBI and walked twice.
Game  17)  Capped Out has a stunning victory over Cognac, thanks in part to Eric Smith, who went 4 for 5 with 3 triples, 1 double and 5 runs scored, as well as Josh Malone, who turned three double
                  plays, and made 2 splendid diving catches.
Game  18)  In another close one, Whatever Softball managed 3 runs with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th, the game winning final hit courtesy Jim Feninello.
Game  23)  In this 9-inning win over Cablevision, Rich Rydell went 3 for 4, with 2 runs and an RBI… he knocked in the tieing run with a triple in the 6th inning, then scored the go-ahead run in the 9th.
Game  24)  Sending Sports Park home, Bashers II win with the help of Bryan Novia who went 4 for 4, with 2 runs and 4 RBIs.   
Game  25)  Losing to Axxess, Capped Out/Easton's Matt Carbone deserves recognition for his effort… 3 at bats, 3 runs, 3 hits and 5 RBIs.
Game  26)  Team Synergy is victorious over Nationals, whose shortstop Artie Landry played a great game and in the bottom of the 6th had a phenomenal linedrive catch.
Game  29)  Jared Schmidt was reported to be pitching great games, and in this matchup he had shutouts in 3 innings (two of them consecutive) - the 2nd, 3rd and the 6th.
Game  30)  The Basher II player Jesse Campanelli went 2 for 2 with a double, and knocked in the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly.
Game  31)  Jesse Bonfielo of Team Synergy went 3 for 4 with 2 runs and a RBI.  Opponent Mike Nunziato was impressive defensively - 2 diving hard line drives caught, one blocked with his body
                  but he still made the out, and he took a hard hit to his wrist, but still managed to catch the ball for the out.
Game  32)  Bashers II were strong and ahead for most of the game, but Aqua Lounge managed to catch up by the top of the 7th and hold the lead for the win.
Game  34)  Aqua Lounge Billie Gies made some "pretty spectacular" plays in right field, and pitcher Moe Reyas held Team Synergy to 4 hits.  A good effort by the defeated team after such a long day.  
Game  35)  Steel Fitness eliminated Aqualounge in this matchup, with players Terence Dee going 2 for 2 with 4 RBIs, including a sac to drive in a run and a nice double… and Paul Debello made a   
                  great dive at 2nd base to stop the ball, critical in stopping Aqua Lounge.  Long day for both teams.
FINALS
Game  36)  Steel Fitness won this game on the strength of the 12 runs they racked up in the 3rd inning...   
Game  37)  The 495ers stayed the course, but Steel Fitness is the final victor.
